I am enjoying all this beautiful warm weather this week, with blue skies and sunshine, temperature is mid 50’s. I live in Southwestern Ontario in Canada and this weather is not uncommon for November. We can have snow, or rain, and like this past week nice relatively warm temperatures. Embracing it and making each day count outdoors is how I find myself occupying my semi retirement.

The RV has been winterized and in storage and everyone who reads my blogs, know I start counting the days until we will welcome spring and open the doors in 2024.

How do you spend your winters? I mean if you are a Canadian snowbird I get it, you are heading South to Florida or Texas, we know many who also venture to Arizona. Hobbies, and a sport are a great way to pass time through winter months. I like taking a walk on sunny winter day, has to be the right temperature for me to venture out, I do like snow shoeing and tell myself each winter I need to invest in a pair.

I think photography might work for me and maybe it will help during the cold winter months, get me out of the house to avoid cabin fever. I love to take pictures and photography has always appealed to me. I have only a entry level Canon but a few lenses I have keep me entertained and allow me to capture nature or wildlife when given the opportunity. I have found myself starting to look for landscapes and capture some beautiful scenery. I am not looking forward to cold snowy days ahead however, I am just mentally preparing myself, on my hobby to help get me through these cold months.

How do you occupy yourself in the winter? Do you have a hobby, or a sport that you enjoy?
